Our Story

There's no better feeling than when we match a family with their pup! It's what drives us and gives us the heart to raise incredible Goldadors. We have shed many tears (and so have our families!) when one of our pups goes to fill their hearts and homes.

What started out as an accidental pregnancy became a passion to breed the most beautiful dogs! Our neighbours dog (which happens to be our areas most popular stud!) came onto our land. We never intended to become breeders but quickly fell in love.

We ended up with the most beautiful litter of puppies! And as we continued to raise them we became much more educated in the world of ethical dog breeding. It completely changed our perspective on what it meant to be a dog breeder and showed us how it can actually impact dogs lives (and families) for the better. We are now passionate breeders with a wonderful breeding program we hope to continue for years to come.

Our dogs are stunning, healthy and surprisingly calm for lab/retrievers. We insure we are familiar with the family lines, health through genetic testing and temperaments. This has ensured a healthy litter every time. They produce our F1 Goldadors and F1b Goldadors and Black Golden Retrievers.

All our puppies have the most incredible temperaments! It's not just their beauty that draws people to them. They are incredibly sweet, intelligent, well behaved and trained to be comfortable in many environments. They do very well with young children, other dogs, cats, and elderly dogs. Our pups are also able to be assessed and trained for service work and as therapy dogs, many have gone off to be very successful service dogs.

Our pups are raised exclusively indoors until roughly 4-5 weeks when they then have indoor/outdoor access. This also insures they are fully potty trained (still expect the occasional accident!) and gives them the comfort of the indoors but also the freedom they need to grow strong and healthy.

They are exclusively nursed until around 4-5 weeks when we allow mum to wean them naturally (we do not force the process). This insures they get all the nutrients they need for a healthy start to life and a strong healthy immune system. They are then introduced to a highly nutritious, grain free dog food. They are raised with full access to both mum and their older sister. 

​

The pups are raised alongside our 3 cats who greatly enjoy being around the dogs! Our 5 young children are also a big part of their lives, helping us care for them until they find their forever homes. If it were up to my children they would keep them all!

Before going home between 8-12 weeks they are health checked, have their ears, eyes, heart and joints checked and are given their first set of shots and deworming. Microchipping is also an option that is included.
